The Cornerstone™

Early Stage Home Renovation Planning & Design

A design led starting point for homeowners planning a home renovation, house extension or whole home interior design who want clarity before committing to architects, drawings or building work. The Cornerstone™ defines how you want to live, aligns your priorities and sets a clear direction for every interior design decision that follows.

Most renovation problems do not come from poor workmanship, they come from unclear decisions made too early. Industry data and construction cost studies consistently show, that changes made once home renovation work is underway can cost many times more than decisions resolved at the planning stage, often adding thousands in redesign fees, delays, wasted materials and programme overruns.

The Cornerstone™ exists to resolve that uncertainty upfront, while changes are still inexpensive and straightforward to make.  This design led workshop gives you space to think clearly before committing.

Instead of reacting to decisions as they arise, we help you define priorities, resolve layout and lifestyle questions and align expectations early on. This significantly reduces the likelihood of mid project changes, one of the biggest causes of budget creep, stress and friction during a home renovation design project.

The outcome is The Cornerstone™ Blueprint, a clear, architect ready brief that aligns everyone involved from the outset.

Clients consistently tell us this stage saved them money, time and emotional energy and, more importantly, it gave them the confidence to move forward knowing the big interior design and renovation decisions were already resolved.
