Lounge with Media Wall
A Stylish Snug designed with Scandinavian elements, where the media wall with shelves is the main focus of this lounge reception room.

The Client Brief for This Living Room with Media Wall
The client brief was to bring much-needed warmth to this living room which happened to be north-facing. The original lounge felt cold and dark and uninviting and therefore was not used much by the family. The clients wanted to use this living room as just a TV room and were in need of storage ideas. Clever lighting ideas were also a must for this space with options to dim and to use different light sequences.
The Design Thinking Behind this Living Room with Media Wall
The colour palette had to be reminiscent of exotic beaches with bright blues and subtle greens. Greys – the colour of driftwood and other natural neutrals were also used to underpin the whole design. Besketweave was added to create a more relaxed feel. Pale pink was used on the walls to depict the colour of sunset on white sand. Sitting on top of the whole room is a ceiling of soft wooden slats to provide a cocooned interior – warm, stylish and inviting.
